British by birth and wit, Martin escaped to Canada as a child, blossoming into a successful adult, corporate manager and lecturer at a prestigious university.

Now retired from adulting, Martin writes novels, short stories, and oil paintings from his home studio in Elora, Ontario.

His debut novel, Nothing Sacred, is a culmination of years spent searching for the answer to that elusive question, “What’s the point of all this?” after concluding Douglas Adams’ “42” needed further clarification.

Nothing Sacred is available now, and its sequel, The Universe, Earl Grey, and a Duck, is due for release in the Spring of 2024.
