My book is coming out on April 8th, and I'm very excited about this story that took me three years to finish. It's based on my love of astrology and mythology, told in a sci-fi/thriller setting.

Reader's Favorite calls it "a scrumptious mix of suspense, mystery, and intrigue, making Persephone's Pool a delightful treat that sci-fi and crime lovers will relish. It's one of the most unpredictable science fiction/murder mystery tales I've read this year."

A sneak peek is available on Reedsy Discovery. A link to read the first chapter is below.

The novel "Shadows Over the Desert" explores the intense and multi-faceted conflict between Israel and Iran, delving into the lives of military leaders, intelligence officers, soldiers, and civilians affected by the war. It is set against the broader backdrop of Middle Eastern geopolitics, showcasing the complexity and human cost of the conflict.

While a conflict of interest, be it in life or in fiction, can bring about self-introspection, strange though it may seem, a casual encounter could lead to self-discovery. So it happened with me in the wake of my rebuff to a dogged tempter, “money is not my weakness” and his “what is your weakness” repartee; for the record, either I had been a straight purchase officer or a strict loss assessor, occupations amenable to monetary mischief. However, the idea of this article is not to gloat over my uprightness but to present the genesis of my attitude to money and the vicissitudes of my life as a subject matter for possible research. But the caveat is that much of my growing up that...
Yes, breaking free, that’s the immediate challenge before mankind as far as space travel is concerned. In our quest for interstellar voyage to the nearest neighboring star we are still restrained by the gravity of our planet. We have successfully stepped onto the closest celestial body, the moon. Made our presence felt on the other planets of our solar system. But that’s just the first step in this lifelong journey that we have been preparing ourselves for. If the goal is to reach the Alpha Centauri within the next couple of centuries or to exploit the resources of the planets of our solar system, we have to think big. I mean really big, not just sending these tubelike pesky rockets to o...
I’m an early educator of 25 years; retired from the classroom. In daycare/preschools, we know that one of the main tools used in the classroom is children's books. I have read numerous children's books and when you connect that fact to me publishing a children's book series you can see where much of my background regarding writing is from.I assume it is safe to say if you are a reader, it can be natural to walk into being a writer if that is your gift. That leads me to the characters of the Mac and Roni Read Book Series regarding how they came about, or the professional term would be character development. Character development in my opinion is broad in that the development of the characte...
