Before he unintentionally kicks a nest of organ-snatching human-trafficking slavers and triggers a worldwide, if clandestine, war, the only “woman” in Ben Alexander’s life is electronic. EVE is a hyper evolved Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) computer program designed by Ben’s friend and business partner, Nickolas Zelenko, as a central component of their security business, COMSEC.

Then, independent insurance fraud investigator Alison McBride hires COMSEC to help her investigate the billion-dollar claim made against Lloyds of London by GB Limited, a large precious metal dealer, and all hell breaks loose.

Now Alison is trapped in the trunk of her own rental car, bound and gagged, having been kidnapped by two Russian gangsters who intend to sell her as a sex slave to an Arab prince. As Ben works frantically to rescue the woman he loves, her safety depends on a startlingly self-aware software program prone to appear onscreen as a gorgeous blonde in tight-fitting clothes—and the capability of hacking into the databases of world governments.

Though framed in a fast-paced adventure story peopled with former Navy SEALs and Special Forces veterans, Global Vice tells an all-too-real story of the human misery inflicted every day on thousands by the worldwide industry of human trafficking. Both action packed and factually based on the business of providing physical and online security for businesses and corporations, Ben and Alison’s story is also a wake-up call for the misery suffered by the untold numbers of women and children who are abducted annually and disappear into a thriving industry that caters to the perverted desires of wealthy individuals.
